All hospital bills are due and payable 90 days from discharge, regardless of whether your insurance has paid. You may make other arrangements by calling a Salem Health financial counselor at 503-814-2455.
If you are pregnant and do not have insurance, contact Oregon MothersCare at 971-673-0252. We will help you enroll in the Oregon Health Plan or another insurance, if eligible, and help you find prenatal care if needed. We also offer financial assistance — learn more.
Your baby has automatic coverage under your grant. However, you must add the baby to your grant within 30 days.
Contact your caseworker as soon as possible after discharge. You are responsible for the baby’s bill until eligibility is confirmed.
At Salem Health, we work hard to provide our patients with the best care at the lowest possible cost.
