Continue social distancing, even when sunny skies are calling!

As the weather improves and the temptation to go outside grows, please remember to keep your distance, wash your hands and avoid touching your face.

You are not only protecting yourself and the people you live with. You're also helping to protect health care workers and conserve important medical resources.

Social distancing matters!

Employees pitch in across Salem Health

Wondering what our staff are up to if they aren’t part of our COVID-19 care teams?

Departments that are closed become part of Salem Health’s “labor pool” during the pandemic. The folks from those departments and clinics help out with a variety of important tasks:

  • Answering phones
  • Helping make PPE
  • Assisting with at-the-door screenings for visitors

Please join us in our heartfelt thanks to all of our staff who are stepping up in these challenging times!

While there is no specific antiviral treatment for COVID-19, if your symptoms are mild and you do not need medical attention, you can treat COVID-19 as you would other viral illnesses.

If you are experiencing symptoms and need medical care, virtual care is available at Salem Health Urgent Care and with most Salem Health primary care providers.
