Salem Health Specialty Clinic – Pain Clinic
Imagine a future where you have more control over your pain.
The purpose of the pain clinic is to give people the best possible shot at a life with less pain — and hopefully with less medication, too.
The darker side of painkillers
Our nation has an alarming rate of addiction, overdose and death related to the use of prescription pain drugs. Sadly, some of the highest rates are found right here in Oregon. One of the ways Salem Health is tackling the problem is by making sure these
medications are prescribed only to people who truly need them.
But another way is by helping people currently relying on medicine for pain relief to explore other options.
What to expect from us
As a patient of the Salem Health pain clinic, you’ll get one-on-one, personal attention. We’ll work with you to make a plan for controlling your pain. The plan might include medication, physical therapy, mental health counseling or even yoga
classes.
If your doctor has already prescribed prescription pain medicine, we’ll help you find the dose that works for you so that you can feel better with a minimum of dangerous side-effects.
Get started!
Appointments at the Salem Health Pain Clinic are by referral only, so it’s important to tell your doctor if you think we could be the right program for you. Once we receive your doctor’s referral, we’ll call you within five business
days to schedule your first visit.
