The Salem Health logo honors the past while looking to the future. This shape was originally inspired by Willamette University’s Waller Hall (University Hall), built in 1867 with the footprint of a Greek cross. Waller Hall was the home of Oregon’s medical school in 1895, when physicians first began planning a hospital in Salem to serve the school and local residents.
