Types of virtual care

Primary care video visits

Connect with your Salem Health primary care provider on a video call using your smartphone or video-enabled device. Video visits are scheduled according to providers' availability — the same way regular office visits are scheduled. You can schedule a video visit for common, everyday symptoms like a sore throat, headaches/migraines or allergies.

Urgent care video visits

Connect with a Salem Health Urgent Care provider on a same-day video call using your smartphone or video-enabled device. Urgent care video visits are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis — the same way urgent care office visits are scheduled. You can schedule an urgent care video visit for any illness or injury that does not require immediate medical care.

Costs for primary and urgent care video visits vary depending on your insurance.

You can submit a primary care e-visit for common, everyday symptoms like a sore throat, headaches/migraines or allergies.

Urgent care e-visits

Urgent care e-visits are a great way to get same-day medical advice from a Salem Health provider about an illness or injury. After submitting the e-visit questionnaire, urgent care providers respond within four hours (during business hours). You can submit an urgent care e-visit for any illness or injury that does not require immediate medical care.

Costs for primary and urgent care e-visits vary depending on your insurance.
