A vascular ultrasound uses sound waves to identify and evaluate blood vessels for specific types of diseases. Most commonly it is used to check the circulation in your arteries, or to check for blood clots in your veins.
The images are obtained in real time, where we listen to the blood move through your body. A vascular ultrasound does not expose you to any radiation, or require an IV.
These exams are performed by our highly specialized ultrasound techs with thousands of exams under their belts.
