Salem Health appoints new member to volunteer Board of Trustees
Salem Health is pleased to announce that Ric Linares has accepted an appointment to the Salem Health Board of Trustees.
Linares is currently the Northwest Region President for CRH, operating locally under the brand River Bend Materials, a local concrete and aggregate provider. He held positions in quality control, operations and area management before becoming Region President.
“I’m excited and looking forward to being a part of such a service-oriented organization committed to the well-being of our community,” said Linares. “The mid-Willamette Valley is a better place because of Salem Health’s commitment and leadership, and I’m honored to become a part of that story.”
All members of the Salem Health Board of Trustees are volunteers and serve three-year terms. Without stockholders or private ownership, the board provides overall policy setting for the health system, and is ultimately responsible for the quality of care and the financial well-being of the organization. The Salem Health Board of Trustees appoints members from a variety of backgrounds to ensure a broad representation of experience and skills that embody the community.
“Ric brings a number of competencies to the Salem Health Board of Trustees such as executive experience in delivering quality products and exceptional service, both transferable concepts in healthcare,” said Bonnie Driggers, Salem Health board chair. “He is not new to board service and he understands the importance of good Governance and the need to serve the needs of the community. Ric will be a valuable addition to the Board of Trustees.”
