Magnet® recognition
On July 22, 2025, Salem Hospital proudly earned its fourth Magnet® Designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)—the highest and most prestigious recognition for nursing excellence and quality patient care. This distinguished honor included eight exemplars, areas in which the organization exceeded national standards.
Magnet recognition is a testament to a hospital’s commitment to nursing professionalism, collaboration and superior patient outcomes. Only 10% of hospitals in the United States have achieved Magnet® designation, and fewer than 2% have done so four times—placing Salem Hospital among the elite health care organizations in the nation.
