A comfortable bed in a dark, quiet room is the best setting for a restful nights sleep.
If you find light a problem, try using blackout curtains, if noise keeps you awake, try using background sound (“white noise”) or earplugs.
Some people are clock watchers, they them worry about how much sleep they are loosing, the worry makes it harder to sleep.
Many people have found it is better to set the alarm clock for wake time and hide the clock so you can not see it from your bed.
Regular exercise helps people sleep better and improves overall health. Don’t exercise within three hours of bedtime, especially aerobic exercise can stimulate you and make it difficult to sleep.
