If you suffer from symptoms caused by chronic respiratory disease or have decreased function despite standard medical treatment, pulmonary rehabilitation may help.

At Salem Hospital’s Regional Rehabilitation Center, our pulmonary rehabilitation program is a six-week session tailored to meet the needs of individuals with chronic pulmonary diseases.

The program includes monitored exercise and educational topics taught by respiratory therapists, nurses, physicians, pharmacists, dietitians and occupational and physical therapists.

Our goal is to improve the overall quality of your life by increasing your exercise tolerance, reducing your symptoms, and developing techniques that will positively impact your daily activities.
