On July 22, 2025, Salem Hospital proudly earned its fourth Magnet® Designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) — the highest and most prestigious recognition for nursing excellence and quality patient care. This distinguished honor included eight exemplars, areas in which the organization exceeded national standards.

Magnet recognition is a testament to a hospital’s commitment to nursing professionalism, collaboration and superior patient outcomes. Only 10% of hospitals in the United States have achieved Magnet® designation, and fewer than 2% have done so four times — placing Salem Hospital among the elite health care organizations in the nation.
