Spinal cord injury

Spinal cord injuries can create a sense of uncertainty and hopelessness. At the Regional Rehabilitation Center, we create an environment of hope as we help you regain as much independence as possible.

The neuromuscular rehabilitation team is dedicated to helping patients transition back to life at work, school, home and the community.

Like other patients in our neuromuscular rehabilitation program, you will benefit from our interdisciplinary team of doctors and therapists.

As a team, they will work with you to set goals and develop a personal recovery program, which will help you regain the greatest degree of independence.

Our program enables patients to:

• Improve physical function and mobility.
• Develop the skills and strategies to perform daily activities.
• Use adaptive technologies that facilitate activities at home, work and in the community.
• Overcome the psychological and social problems that often interfere with adjustment to life ahead.

We work with the Salem Spine Center regularly to help patients with back, neck and spine rehabilitation services.
