RN Residency Program

Description

Our RN Residency Program aims to support the new graduate RN as they transition from student to nurse through didactic lessons, simulation, and track-specific class options. Course content and curriculum is based upon recommendations of the National League of Nursing (NLN), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Nurses Association (ANA) and various peer-reviewed articles. The residency is then tailored specifically to the culture of Salem Health.

 

Format

The RN Residency Program is a formal professional development course. It begins with initial orientation and training and proceeds to preceptorship and a mentor program.
