Bio
Indiana native Dr. Mark Dolan (he/him) is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, specializing in hip and knee replacement. Extensively trained at the world's foremost orthopedic center - the Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Medical College, Cornell University - he utilizes cutting edge techniques and treatments for a variety of hip and knee problems and serves as medical director of the Salem Health Joint Replacement Center of Excellence. He is a champion for change, and drove several projects to improve patient care and outcomes for hip and knee replacements. A firm believer in providing compassionate, patient-centered care, he strives to listen to every patient and communicate effectively so they understand all of their options and make the best choices to achieve a pain-free life and high functionality. When not working, Dr. Dolan is busy chasing his two children around Salem, visiting the natural wonders of Oregon and skiing.
Interests
Dr. Dolan's clinical interests are in hip and knee joint replacement surgery, minimally invasive surgery, technology including robotics, anterior hip replacement and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
