Salem Health invites the community to participate in the free Binational Health Week event on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Community Health Education Center on the Salem Hospital campus, Building D. All programs will be presented in both Spanish and English.

The free wellness workshops will include sessions on women’s cancers (breast and cervical cancer information), mental health and meal planning for disease prevention (snacks will be provided).

Diabetes and cholesterol screenings will be offered free to the first 100 people who have fasted 12 hours prior with no food or beverages except water. All are welcome to free bone density, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI) screenings. This is a family-friendly event. All ages are welcome.
