In July 2023, Salem Hospital’s Advanced Wound Center received the Center of Distinction Award from Healogics, Inc, recognizing outstanding clinical outcomes in wound healing rates and patient satisfaction achieved over 12 consecutive months in 2022. During this time, the wound center averaged a 92% healing rate and 96% patient satisfaction rate.

Salem Hospital clinical staff provide highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in a reasonable amount of time.
