Verizon has joined AT&T in discontinuing support for traditional text‑to‑cell functionality. In response, Information Services has transitioned all text‑to‑cell users to a new vendor, ClickSend, which supports messaging across all major mobile carriers.

What you need to know:

  • No action is required on your part.
  • All existing text‑to‑cell users have already been transitioned to ClickSend.
  • All text‑to‑cell messages from Salem Health will now originate from the following number:
    541-395‑6044.

Please consider adding this number to your contacts to ensure message recognition and delivery. Message functionality and workflows remain otherwise unchanged.
