We are pleased to announce Reid Sund has been appointed to a vice-presidential role as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Salem Health Medical Group (SHMG), effective Sunday, June 1. In this role, Reid and his team will provide strategic financial leadership for SHMG, overseeing financial operations, provider compensation and business planning.
Reid transitions to this role from system director of finance, with oversight of the health system finance team and provider compensation and contracting. As part of this transition, the provider compensation and contracting team and the medical group financial analyst team will move under Reid’s leadership to ensure continued alignment. Reid will report to James Parr, Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Financial Officer, with operational direction from Leah Mitchell, Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Integration Officer.
Reid has worked at Salem Health for almost 10 years. He is a competitive triathlete, having completed dozens of triathlons including eight Half Ironmans. Reid lives with his wife and three children in South Salem.
The hospital finance team, including accounting, accounts payable and financial planning, will continue to report up through Jenn Fowler, Vice President of Finance and Service Line Operations.
We are pleased to share Danielle Bouldry has been promoted to director of finance, succeeding Reid in his role. Danielle has been with Salem Health for almost nine years and brings deep experience and leadership to her new position. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in her garden or getting lost in a good book. Danielle lives in McMinnville with her husband and their two busy young children.
