Salem Health Information Services (IS) has been reducing pager usage across the organization — and the effort is paying off. To date, we have eliminated nearly 600 pagers from the environment.
For providers who have already transitioned, messages from the Switchboard and WebXchange are now delivered to their cell phone via ClickSend, a text-to-cell service. Messages will come from 541-395-6044 — please save this number so you can identify Salem Health communications.
Providers who have opted into this change have reported strong satisfaction with the transition. Interested in moving from a pager to ClickSend? Submit the ClickSend User Agreement to get started (Salem Health intranet access required).
