Provider coverage and recruitment efforts

Salem Health continues our commitment to providing exceptional gynecologic oncology care and is pleased to share an update on provider coverage and recruitment efforts.

Since late April, a team of experienced locum gynecologic oncologists have been providing reliable coverage, ensuring patients receive timely consultations, surgical care, chemotherapy management, follow-up services and inpatient support.

These providers are maintaining continuity of care while Salem Health continues our search for long-term team members. Recruitment efforts are ongoing as we seek two permanent gynecologic oncologists and one physician assistant to join our well-established program.

Ensuring uninterrupted access to gynecologic oncology services remains our top priority as we build a strong, sustainable provider team for the future. We appreciate the support and collaboration of our patients, referring providers and hospital teams throughout this transition.
