Gratitude from Salem and West Valley hospitals Medical Executive Committees

22 Mar 2026

Week-long events planned for National Doctors’ Day

By: Salem and West Valley hospitals Medical Executive Committees

This year, we celebrate Doctors' Day on March 30. On behalf of the medical staff, we want to sincerely thank each of you for the compassion, dedication and countless hours you pour into caring for our patients through every chapter of life — from their very first breath to life’s final moments.

Being a physician means more than treating illness. You are trusted leaders, teachers, mentors and advocates in our communities. Our patients turn to us when they are afraid, hurting and most vulnerable, and you meet them with skill, empathy and commitment. You also inspire the next generation of physicians and lend your voices to shape the future of health care through policy and leadership.

During a time when medicine faces unprecedented challenges, our communities continue to look to us for guidance, strength and hope — and you answer their call every day.

Thank you for the difference you make, seen and unseen.

Happy Doctor’s Day! Your work matters, and you are deeply appreciated.
