Three stars - Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI)
Operating under the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Vascular Quality Initiative is composed of 14 registries containing demographic, clinical, procedural and outcomes data from more than 1,000,000 vascular procedures performed nationwide and in Canada. The mission of the SVS VQI is to improve patient safety and the quality of vascular care delivery by providing web-based collection, aggregation and analysis of clinical data submitted in registry format for all patients undergoing specific vascular treatments.
Salem Health first received the SVS VQI honor in 2024 and again in 2025.
Get With The Guidelines®️ - Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll
In 2024, our program demonstrated excellence in seven different metric areas monitored by Get With The Guidelines®. Additionally, we achieved honor roll with meeting an additional benchmark in our door to needle times. We had previously been at silver status, but progressed to gold level this year.
