Free CHEC events for caregivers, cancer patients and more

By: Ruth Sheridan, content strategist lead

A healthy support network is vital to wellness, so encourage your patients to participate in free Community Health Education Center (CHEC) events that keep them active and engaged! They can find these events and more at salemhealth.org/CHEC.

For people who want to know their numbers

This summer, the CHEC offers free, integrative health screenings in smaller communities around our region. These screenings include cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure, plus time with a health educator to go over results. Learn more at salemhealth.org/CHEC.

For caregivers

Salem Health continues its focus on the challenges of caregiving with three summer classes: Managing Money: A Caregivers Guide to Finances, Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and The 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s. Register now at salemhealth.org/CHEC.
