In May 2022, Salem Health was nationally recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. Offered in collaboration with the American Heart Association achieving this certification means we've met rigorous, nationally recognized standards for patient safety and quality of care. It’s a signal to our community that the care we provide meets the unique and specialized needs of stroke patients.
