Salem Health employee supports inclusive play area

Heidi Chin, RN, staff nurse with Salem Health’s cardiovascular care unit, has worked at the hospital in Salem since 1998. She recently donated $100 to support the construction of the therapy and community play area at the corner of Church and Mission streets.

“To be able to have that kind of space in our community is very important and needed,” Chin said. “Salem Health employees have the opportunity to give back to their community and offer a place specifically for anybody with accessibility issues. That’s just amazing.”
