Jessica Ritter
Jessica holds a degree in Culinary Arts from Boston University and credits her Vietnamese French Mother as her first cooking teacher.
Jessica has a passion for Vietnamese cuisine because it is “fresh, healthy and has bold, clean flavors”. She has co-owned and operated The Wild Pear since March 2000 with her sister Cecilia.
When she is not busy running the restaurant and putting together menus she enjoys reading, being active, spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, writing, journaling, traveling and learning a new skill or craft.
Cecilia Ritter James
Cecilia has been working in restaurants since the age of 17. It was through this work that she discovered her passion for the hospitality and restaurant industry. At age 24 she opened The Wild Pear with her sister Jessica.
Cecilia’s favorite cuisines include Vietnamese, other Asian and Mediterranean. They all use “fresh herbs, vegetables and seafood with little frying, butter, or heavy fat”.
When she is not overseeing the business operations or writing menus with her sister for the restaurant, Cecilia enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff James, her three step children and German Shepherd.
She also coaches a club volleyball team and is active at her church.
