Anything they can do, we can do closer.

Looking for a little peace of mind? For more than 100 years, we have been helping our neighbors battle all types of cancer. Face your diagnosis with confidence—our team of trusted cancer experts will help you navigate every phase of your care, no matter what the future brings.

Care and screenings at Salem Hospital

One of our newest services is lung cancer screening using a CT scanner. If you or a loved one is a current or former smoker, put your cancer worries to rest by being screened regularly.

Medical oncology and hematology, radiation oncology and gynecologic oncology all concentrate on using chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and other treatments to control cancer.

Our Breast Center specializes in mammography and clinical breast exams. To learn when you should begin having mammograms, visit our Breast Center FAQ page.

In partnership with Oregon Health & Science University Knight Cancer Institute, we provide genetic counseling for patients with various cancer diagnoses and those who may be at increased risk because of a family history of cancer.

Our patients have access to the latest advances and many experimental procedures through a clinical trials program.

Physical and emotional support

Whether you are in ongoing treatment or remission, cancer rehabilitation can help you regain the skills and energy for living a normal life. And thanks to care coordination, social services and peer navigators, you don’t have to go it alone.

Palliative care is a specialty that can ease some of the more distressing symptoms of cancer treatment—nausea, pain and exhaustion. It is in addition to your regular medical treatment, not a replacement for it.
