West Valley Hospital Foundation Establishes Scholarship Program for Polk County Residents

The West Valley Hospital Foundation has established a scholarship program for Polk County residents who are pursuing careers in healthcare professions.

The West Valley Hospital Foundation has established a scholarship program for Polk County residents who are pursuing careers in healthcare professions.

Applications are currently available, and must be returned by March 31, 2008. Applicants must have a permanent residence in Polk County. Scholarship winners will be announced in May for the September, 2008, school year.

“We’re excited to be able to designate unrestricted funds from the West Valley Hospital Foundation to help students further their education, and some day be a part of the health care workforce in some capacity,” said Sue Lamb, West Valley Hospital Foundation board chairperson.

This is the first year the West Valley Hospital Foundation has awarded scholarships.
