Medical staff engagement survey results

By Robert J. Harder, MD, chair, Medical Staff Engagement Committee

The Medical Staff Engagement Committee (MSEC) recently hosted our medical staff engagement survey vendor, Integrated Healthcare Strategies, for two days of survey results presentations. Thank you to everyone who attended: Medical staff, the board, ELC, section chiefs and service line/department directors. Integrated prepared an executive overview comparing our results to last year’s and to benchmarked national norms. They provided us with a picture of our strengths and weaknesses and where we can focus our efforts to improve physician engagement.

This information will be used to direct our 2017-2018 Physician Engagement A3 strategy work as well as map Physician Engagement 5-Year Plan. Physician leaders, ELC and the board are committed to focusing on the areas that matter most to you.

Please take a moment to review the executive overview presented by Integrated Healthcare Strategies. If you have any questions or would like to review the full survey in detail please reach out to me, Andy Furman, MD or Ralph Yates, DO. The dialogue is welcomed.
