Bio
Dr. Knight is a Northwest native, having grown up in the Seattle area. He completed studies in engineering at Brigham Young University and Arizona State University before attending medical school. He also lived in Ecuador for two years while performing missionary service from 1992-94. After medical training he chose to settle in Salem with his family (wife and six children) to pursue his practice of hand surgery. He is actively involved with broad family activities and in his religious community. He enjoys tennis and pickleball, and is an avid hiker (including a trek to Mt. Everest base camp in 2017 and summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2024). Landscape and wilderness photography have been a more recent passion.
