Program Objectives: 

Participants will:
1) Identify the palliative care patient.
2) Recognize how palliative care benefits the patient.
3) Recognize how palliative care benefit the health system.

Target audience:

Primary Care, Oncology, Palliative Medicine, and other interested medical professionals.

The Salem Health is accredited by the Oregon Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The Salem Hospital designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 1.0 hour AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
