Oregon Health Authority has asked Salem Health vaccination clinics to help distribute $100 grocery gift cards to people getting their first doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Last Saturday, the Portland area saw a boost in their vaccination numbers as a result of the OHA gift card incentive, getting closer to the 70% rate the governor has set to remove vaccine restrictions across the state.

Our clinic at Western Oregon University will distribute gift cards on Friday, June 18, while the fairgrounds clinic will distribute cards on Saturday, June 19. The gift cards are available for one day only at each site, on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone receiving their first dose.

As a reminder, the WOU clinic is open this Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the fairgrounds clinic is open this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both appointments and walk-in visits are welcome at both locations.
